My ethnicity is Afghanistan, but I was born and grew up here in Texas, in USA.
I just finished university a few months ago, I got my marketing degree at the University of Houston and am now currently unemployed looking for jobs. In the meantime, I am working on my channel growing it more.
Alhamdulillah, I have reached a point in my life where I feel like I can do anything, I can achieve whatever I want to InshaAllah.
I have some ideas that I want to execute in my lifetime and although there are some challenges along the way I’m not going to really focus too much on the challenges. What I want to do is just solve the problems that I can and if something is out of my control I’m just going to keep my head down and work hard to achieve my very first dream.
I really want to become an entrepreneur I love modest fashion and the reason I started my YouTube channel is because I really want to help people. I feel like there isn’t enough content out there that is targeted towards people who are just converting to Islam or girls who are you thinking about wearing hijab but don’t even know where to start so that’s my goal InshaAllah. I would really like to build a community around the modest fashion industry and later on I think I might come up with my own fashion line or something that will improve our situation whatever I come up with, I know that I will be able to get it done and make it work.
A second goal I want to mention is that I really want to have a stronger and leaner body I think that we can all relate to this I have a really difficult time eating the right food I would say that over the past two years, it’s ten times better after I make sure to incorporate a lot more vegetables or fruits into my diet and I feel like it’s really hope the lot and I can actually see yet I can actually see the signs that it has changed. Along with that I really want to make sure that I am exercising enough I live in an area where everyone just drives everywhere and because of that I don’t get a lot of walking down I don’t get just like the daily exercise a lot of people who live in more walkable areas to get to make sure that I eat well and exercise on a regular basis so those are two of my goals.
To achieve these goals, I have to prevent myself from distraction I think that’s the main challenge that I really have to get over. We live in an age of distraction. We get notifications all the time because there are just so many things that we can watch online but there are so many ways to get distracted there’s so many ways to spend time without really achieving anything. If there is something that I really need to work on like writing a blog post or recording a video, I will have to make sure to not allow myself to be distracted by my subscription feed on Youtube too although it is very interesting and fun to watch.
In regards to working out and eating healthy I think sometimes I just go through especially after work out what happened to me is I just become blind hungry and I just grabbed the nearest thing sometimes the nearest thing is a cookie! So I just have to make sure that I have plans set up so that whenever I do work out I have an idea of what I’m going to eat and I’m not going to have that blind hunger that comes right after working out.
